Caring for anodised aluminium
Start with the actual material and its approved instructions. Different finishes require different care.
Anodising is a surface treatment for aluminium; do not assume every dark framed panel or metal corner in the collection is anodised. The prospective products use different listed materials, and several compositions remain unverified.
Follow the final manufacturer-approved cleaning instructions. Check compatibility before using detergent, disinfectant or polish. Abrasive tools and aggressive solvents can damage finishes; a cleaner suitable for one surface may be unsuitable for upholstery, vinyl or a coated frame.
Keep liquid away from electrical components and remove residue as instructed. Let approved cleaning processes finish before packing the equipment. Never assume a supplier’s waterproof claim permits wet cleaning of lights or power connections.
Inspect hinges, runners, wheels and fasteners according to the product’s service instructions. Do not improvise a load-bearing repair or apply polish or lubricants to a mechanism without confirming suitability.
Attrevo care guidance and replacement-part compatibility will be published for approved configurations. This article is a planning note, not a substitute for those instructions.
