Attrevo / Professional chair in development

The Black Barber Chair

A considered place for the craft.

An all-black client chair for barbering and grooming: contoured upholstery, a defined head support, four-leg tubular structure and a forward footrest. An honest study of the supplier design, considered through the Attrevo lens.

The client position

The chair is part of the work.

Every cut begins with a seated conversation. This black-on-black chair puts the client, not the equipment, at the centre of the room. The editorial photographs below show how that position can be used; performance claims still require physical inspection.

Attrevo / The location practice

A considered room for the craft.

Attrevo specialises in travel equipment and portable barber-station planning. That also means recognising what should not be treated as luggage: this black four-leg barber chair is a service-seating study, not a confirmed carry-ready folding product.

01 / The workflow

Choose the room first

Plan suitable level flooring and sufficient clearance for the forward footrest. For temporary grooming rooms, confirm the transport and assembly requirements rather than assuming the chair folds or rolls.

02 / The workflow

Bring the organised kit

Keep clippers, combs and sanitation supplies in a separate rolling case. Place the active tools on a stable hygienic table; chair arms are not equipment shelves and a storage case is not automatically a hot-tool station.

03 / The workflow

Check before seating

Inspect leg contacts, fasteners, back mechanism and footrest against approved instructions. Do not promise hydraulic lift, recline or shaving support from the photographs alone.

Before you travel

The supplier lists a 46 × 46 cm seat and 49 cm seat height. Folding, load rating and adjustment remain unresolved. The 15 kg figure is gross shipping weight, not confirmed item weight; plan logistics after sample verification.

AI-generated, reference-led editorial imagery; not photographs of an approved Attrevo production sample. Accessories and settings illustrate possible workflows, not included contents or verified performance.

01 — The silhouette

A defined client position

An upholstered square seat, a tall shaped back and a compact head cushion establish a seated working position. This is a four-legged chair, not a central-pedestal salon chair.

Considered from every angle

Read the details.

Construction notes distinguish what is pictured from what remains to be tested.

01

A chair for the service

Unlike a station or a travel case, this is a dedicated client chair: a shaped back, cushioned seat, pair of padded armrests and a place for the feet. Keep clippers, blades and sanitising supplies on a separate working surface.

02

A precisely readable silhouette

The supplier photographs show four splayed black tubular legs rather than a circular pedestal. The broad square seat meets a tall contoured back and a compact upper head cushion; the black-on-black finish gives a quiet, focused presence.

03

The upholstered contact points

A stitched inner seat panel and curved back insert define the areas a client touches most. Upholstery is described by the supplier as leather, but its composition, abrasion resistance, foam density and cleaning-agent compatibility await confirmation.

04

The footrest is part of the frame

A low support extends forward from the chair on two slender rails, terminating in a narrow foot plate and lower crosspiece. The linkage visible below the seat suggests adjustment, but its travel and safe operating procedure require a production sample.

05

Look behind the back

Rear reference images reveal paired toothed adjustment pieces, cross-braces and a small top bracket. We do not describe this as a hydraulic lift: no central lift cylinder appears in the photographs despite the listing’s hydraulic-pump attribute.

06

Professional assessment first

Every leg joint, arm connection, rear mechanism and footrest pivot deserves a repeated-use and stability check. Load capacity, recline range, headrest adjustment and frame alloy must be verified before Attrevo can make definitive performance promises.

01

The precision cut

Seat the client on a level floor with the footrest clear of your walkway. Arrange scissors and combs on a separate sanitised station; use the chair’s open sides to move freely from temple to neckline. The image is an editorial illustration, not a validated service configuration.

02

Beard and shaving preparation

Place a towel or cape before service and set a clean tool tray within the barber’s reach, never on an armrest. The high back and compact head pad suggest a supported seated position; verify the actual recline and head-support limits before any wet shave.

03

Salon styling

Use the defined seat, arms and foot position while sectioning or finishing hair, with lighting and heated equipment on a separate station. Confirm clearance for cords, ventilation and the intended cleaner for the upholstery.

04

Mobile grooming

A four-leg frame can be set on a suitable stable floor at a temporary workspace. The supplier lists the item as foldable, but exact fold sequence, packed dimensions and whether assembly is required remain to be confirmed; do not present it as a carry-ready folding chair yet.

Before the first appointment

Set the room. Check the chair.

  1. 01 / Position. Choose a level, dry floor and allow space in front for the projecting footrest.
  2. 02 / Inspect. Before seating anyone, check all four floor contacts, arm fasteners, rear mechanism and footrest connection against the final supplier instructions.
  3. 03 / Prepare. Place a cape or towel; keep sharp tools, electrical equipment and hot instruments off the armrests.
  4. 04 / Reset. Clean between clients with an upholstery-compatible product once its composition and care instructions are verified. Do not adjust moving parts while occupied unless the approved instructions permit it.

Product file

The stated facts. The open questions.

The supplier listing and six product references inform this black-only preview. The hydraulic-pump claim conflicts with the photographed frame, while frame material and certification claims lack supporting detail. Final Attrevo specifications require a sample and documentation.
