Attrevo / Professional chair in development
The Director Chair
A place for the person behind every look.
A portable folding client chair for makeup artists, grooming teams and on-location professionals. Black aluminium, a cushioned seat, defined armrests and footrest, and a separate mesh headrest — one considered working position.
This supplier design is under Attrevo assessment. It is not an Attrevo-approved retail product and cannot be purchased or reserved yet.
Start with your services, travel route and kit requirements. No payment or reservation. Enquiry delivery is being prepared.
The working position
Your kit can travel. Now the chair can too.
At a hotel, backstage or on location, a suitable chair is never guaranteed. This folding design brings a consistent client position while keeping the artist’s products on a separate, clean work surface.
Attrevo / The location practice
Bring the client position with you.
A hotel suite or editorial set may have the right light but the wrong chair. Folding location seating lets the professional plan the client position as carefully as the kit, rather than relying on whatever furniture happens to be available.

Check the journey
Measure the actual folded sample and vehicle opening before arranging transport. The supplier quotes 4.2 kg item weight, but its conflicting dimensional fields are not a reliable packing guide.
Set a stable position
Open fully on a level, dry surface and inspect the frame and pivots against the final instructions. Keep access clear around the footrest; a chair is not a step or a place to suspend a loaded case.
Separate service from storage
Use a separate clean table for tools while the client is seated. After service, let the client step away before removing the headrest or folding the frame; keep hands clear of pivot points.
Before you travel
Rated load, seat height, headrest fitment and folded dimensions await sample review. Folding does not establish airline cabin eligibility. The in-use imagery is illustrative, not a validated seating or safety configuration.
AI-generated, reference-led editorial imagery; not photographs of an approved Attrevo production sample. Accessories and settings illustrate possible workflows, not included contents or verified performance.
Explore the build
01 — Carry
A narrow form between calls
The X-frame folds toward a compact profile. The supplier quotes 58 × 42 × 12 cm elsewhere in its description, but does not clearly identify whether this is the folded size; confirm before travel planning.
Considered from every angle
Built around the sitting.
Construction notes describe what the references show. Safety and performance remain pending sample testing.
A working chair, not another case
This supplier design is a folding director-style client chair. It offers a dedicated elevated seating position for an artist who already carries a separate kit; it contains no integrated mirror, lights, power, drawers or wheels.
A compact crossed architecture
Two pairs of long aluminium frame members cross beneath the seat and pivot together for transport. Lower crossbars stabilize the geometry; dark end caps meet the floor. The true folded footprint and safe operating load need physical verification.
A client position with intention
A broad black upholstered seat meets a slimmer padded backrest. Paired shaped armrests sit on upright supports; the forward footrest gives clients a defined place for their feet when the chair is fully opened.
The headrest is its own part
The images show a curved, breathable mesh headrest attached to a branched black bracket above the back panel. The supplier also pictures it separately. Confirm whether it ships as standard, how it locks in, and whether its position adjusts.
Hardware worth inspecting
Look closely at the arm pivots, seat hinges, X-joint rivets, footrest connections and leg end caps. These are the touchpoints we would test repeatedly before treating the chair as Attrevo equipment.
A disciplined pack-down
After the client steps clear, remove the headrest if required by the supplied mechanism, release the chair as instructed, and bring the X-frame into its narrow travel profile. Never fold while occupied or use the chair before its joints are fully secured.
Professional use
One chair. Four working environments.
Bridal preparation
Give a client a dedicated seated position in a hotel suite while the artist arranges their kit on a separate clean surface. The footrest and armrests make the session feel deliberate without commandeering the room’s furniture.
Editorial and film sets
Move between changing rooms and temporary work areas with a folding client chair. Position it on a level surface near separate task lighting and keep cables and cases clear of the feet.
Barber and grooming calls
Use the chair as a transportable consultation or finishing position for suitable seated services; verify working height and load rating before any service requiring prolonged stability or force.
Training and masterclasses
Establish a repeatable seated demonstration position for each model, while storing brushes, sanitation supplies and electrical tools separately rather than implying the chair contains storage.
Before each appointment
Set it once. Work with confidence.
- 01 / Place. Choose a clean, level floor and leave clearance around every leg and the footrest.
- 02 / Open. Spread the frame fully by its designated grip points; inspect pivots and seat supports before seating anyone.
- 03 / Fit. Attach the mesh headrest only according to the final supplier instructions, then check that it is secure.
- 04 / Clean and close. Wipe the upholstery with a material-approved cleaner, let it dry, and fold only after the client has stepped away. Keep fingers clear of hinges.
